This Billing Policy explains how subscription charges work for Black Order Limits. All billing is handled through the Shopify Billing API in accordance with Shopify's partner requirements.
1. Subscription plans
Black Order Limits offers the following public plans:
- Free plan: $0 per month. Includes up to 3 active limit rules and standard email support.
- Pro plan: $9.99 per month. Includes unlimited active limit rules, product-specific limits, and priority email support.

2. How charges are applied
When you select a paid plan, you approve a recurring application charge through Shopify. The charge appears on your regular Shopify subscription invoice. Shopify collects payment according to your existing Shopify billing cycle.
We do not charge merchants outside of the Shopify Billing API. We do not request credit card details directly.
3. Free trial
The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. During the trial, you have full access to Pro features. If you uninstall the app or downgrade before the trial ends, you will not be charged for the Pro plan.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
You may upgrade from the Free plan to the Pro plan at any time from within the app. When you upgrade, the new plan charge is approved through Shopify and takes effect according to Shopify's billing rules.
If you downgrade from Pro to Free, your access to Pro features ends at the start of the next billing cycle. Previously created rules beyond the Free plan limit may be disabled until you upgrade again or reduce your active rules.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription by downgrading to the Free plan or uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Cancellation stops future recurring charges. Charges already applied to your Shopify invoice are not automatically refunded.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed individually within 14 days of a charge. Approved refunds are processed through Shopify where applicable.
7. Price changes
We may update plan pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes apply to new subscriptions and renewals after the effective date. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase affects their account.
