Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Black Order Limits ("the app") provided as a Shopify application. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Black Order Limits provides order limit functionality for Shopify stores. The app allows merchants to configure minimum and maximum purchase rules based on cart value, quantity, and individual products, and to display custom messages when limits are not met.

2. Eligibility

You must be a Shopify merchant with an active store and the authority to install third-party apps on that store. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with applicable laws and Shopify's terms of service.

3. Account and access

Access to the app is granted when you install it through the Shopify App Store or your Shopify admin. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs under your store.

4. Subscription and payment

Paid plans are billed through the Shopify Billing API as described in our billing policy and pricing page. By approving a charge, you authorize Shopify to bill you according to the selected plan.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or infringes on the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

6. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of data is described in our privacy policy. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

7. Availability and modifications

We strive to keep the app available and functioning reliably. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for temporary interruptions due to maintenance or factors outside our control.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will meet every business requirement or operate without error.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends and your data will be handled as described in our privacy policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Questions

Questions about these Terms can be found on our support page and FAQ.
