Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Black Order Limits

What does Black Order Limits do?

Black Order Limits lets Shopify merchants set minimum and maximum purchase requirements based on cart value, order quantity, or individual products. The app validates orders before checkout and shows custom messages when limits are not met.

What types of limits can I create?

You can set cart-based limits (minimum and maximum cart value), quantity limits (minimum and maximum items per order), and product-specific limits for individual products in your catalog.

When are limits checked?

Limits are validated before customers proceed to checkout. If a cart does not meet your configured rules, the customer sees your custom message and cannot complete checkout until the cart is adjusted.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 3 active limit rules with cart value and quantity limits. See our pricing page for full plan details.

How does billing work?

All charges are processed through the Shopify Billing API. Paid plan charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. See our billing policy for complete details.

Does the Pro plan have a free trial?

Yes. The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial period ends.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?

When you uninstall Black Order Limits, your store data and limit rules are deleted within 48 hours. See our privacy policy for more information.
